Tribute Orlov appreciation thread

Orlov was one of the few guys I didn't want to trade. I thought for a long time he was the Caps best d-man.

But I understand why this happened.

Bruins Fan coming in peace. Just wanted to say......I love this guy after 2 games. He is such a smart player who sees the ice so very good. I can tell he is steps ahead of opposing players and teammates. Love his cannon of a shot , and he seems to be a awesome team player. I hope you don't get him back this summer , if you do , I want to say thank you for letting us enjoy the time with him.....Cheers and Peace Out.

If he hasn't done it w/BOS yet, one of the things he is a master at
is the increasingly-rare open ice hit and hip check
his perfect timing manages to catch even the most seasoned veterans dead in their tracks and flatten them (or send them head-over-heels), old schoolers will fully appreciate that skillset
