I've been very impressed with Hyman and (more or less) Nuge lately, but we need to see more out of both Yamamoto and Puljujarvi:

Puljujarvi = 1 goal, 3 points in 16 games
Yamamoto = 3 goals, 10 points in 25 games

The Oilers aren't going anywhere in the playoffs (should they get there) if their drafted wingers are producing like that. Tonight would be a good time for both to break out...

Those stats are wrong, and misleading. Yamamoto has 11 points in his past 19 games, and 6 in his past 16.

Watching Kane punch that rat again, I think he actually might have been out briefly.

He goes into fencing response on his left hand instead of bracing himself or going limp.

Also would lend credence to him not playing much and staying out of scrums in the third...
