What exactly does Québec have to give for Cupper? Booth? Considering they don't have any draft picks before the 4th round this year.....

If Quebec , and that's a big if , decided to make the trade Shawinigan would probably demand a player at the draft. Shawinigan should be strong next year with a lot of returning players. Cupper is valuable but an overage/euro goaltender won't get you Booth. Maybe something along the lines of Eric Brassard , Olivier Garneau and a pick. The pick going back for Guillaume Gauthier at the draft. Gauthier would be a great 20 to have next season as their overage selection is on the weaker side. Then you'd have Kris Hodge , Eric Brassard , Pawelczyk , Slight and possibly Labbe , if he doesn't turn pro, battling for the other two spots.

To Quebec:

Marvin Cupper

To Shawinigan:

Eric Brassard
Guillaume Gauthier (at the draft)
Olivier Garneau (5th round pick 2014)

The Shawinigan clock is ticking...Cupper still leading the standings while the ship starts the usual sinking. The value will be less the closer to Christmas.:yo:

He won't be moved to Quebec. They can't afford to use both a euro spot and overage spot on the same player. Especially when having to drop one of their current 20 year olds. Just doesn't make sense for them.
