Was just messing around with line combos and i thought this one might be good
1/ canadian line #1 Brassard-Richards-Nash
2/ american line Kreider-Stepan-Callahan
3/ scandinavian line Hagelin-Lindberg-Zuccarello
4/ canadian line #2 Pouliot-Moore-Dorsett
Boyle as 13th forward
Just an idea.

I have an idea on line names how about the Charmin line for mostly all 4 lines figuring we are as soft as Charmin up and down the lineup

I realize that one of the worst things in the world is to be an accused Devils fan but think that people were pulling your leg. Take the Coldplay CD out immediately, Traverse right around the corner!

Coldplay sucks lol, I'm more of a Chris Cornell kinda guy

We have five pivots who range from decent to very solid on faceoffs. That's a good problem to have.

I think Boyle is the one who will be deployed on the wing. It will let him show a little more offense in a contract year.

I expect this early in the season:
Hagelin-Richards-Nash
Pouliot-Brass-Zucc
Kreider-Step-Callahan
Dorsett-Boyle-Pyatt

Then a few month in, it could get interesting.

Early in the season, Cally and Hags won't be playing, so you would have to slot in Pouliet, Kristo, and one of Miller/Lindberg/Fast (no, not all three).

Kristo will be 3rd line at worst, probably a regular 2nd liner on our team... period.

Pouliot will jump between 2nd and 3rd lines

Nash and Richards will remain on the 1st line

Step will be 2nd line center, without a doubt.

4th line looks good, I'm really hoping Pyatt gets dropped/traded/etc. He isn't productive enough for even 4th line duties, and though his board play is very good, that's all he is good for... He makes Boyle look like a superstar

Out of curiosity, who are our pivots who rate as "very solid" on faceoffs?

Boyle is quite good, he wasn't always, but has averaged about 53% the past two seasons.

Richards has been a 51% guy for awhile.

Moore has been good on draws as long as I can remember.

Stepan and Brassard looking at the numbers are not as good as I recall. about 45% each which is bad for a top 6 pivot. If you were to move someone to the wing, I think it would be one of them. Likely Brassard.

I don't see Brassard or even Boyle getting moved to wing. In so far as Stepan and Brassard go on faceoffs, somehow/someway they both have to get their numbers closer to 50%

Enjoy the rest of the summer!
