Not too relevant to the thread but I can't understand why Vegas keeps trying to make Jake Leschysyn work in their lineup. He is by far the most "just there" guy that's ever worn the jersey. I mean Luca Sbisa was there year 1 but he at least could occasionally have good shifts. Leschysyn is literally just there

But while he may/may not have a leg up on likes of Carpenter
off top of my head I don't see him challenging anyone on NYR roster. Not replacing Vesey, Gauthier, etc.

Kreider +Gauthier both had upper body injury knocking them out last nite.
A useful body for now, sure.
But he'll go down soon enuf.

I think the post just meant like 4c, 13th forward, first call-up if sent down type of player. I don't think he meant like depth in the line-up like some additional scoring piece.

NYR been exceptionally healthy recent seasons, compared to many (see Caps, Avs, this season)

and NYR AHL affiliate lacks F depth (4 Fs currently hurt) only collecting points recently, no obvious callup guys either, glad they left 'Pack alone, for now

no downside here, can re-waive at any day
