I think he’s injured. Would’ve played last night but didn’t dress. They dressed the ECHL goalie ahead of him in the AHL.
He’s slowly lost the AHL net to Garand this season, and I think Garand is probably going to be the first call up next season. They might call up Domingue if the game was important because you don’t want to throw a guy who has never played an NHL game into the fire, but Domingue is close to being the 4th goaltender now.

Quick has been the second all season. How can you possibly argue Domingue is the second?
As I said in the post you quoted, he has started losing the AHL net to Garand. In a non-pressure situation he probably wouldn’t be the first AHL call up.

I like having a guy like Domingue in the system. God help us if he plays a stretch of games but if there's a game or two that we need him he can put together a solid NHL performance. The one game he played this year he gave up only 1 goal and made some solid saves.
