Canes fan here. I like seeing Bishop and Dzingel showing the young Sens how to play a Canes-style puck-possession/aggressive forecheck game in a bottom-6 role. I think that your team desperately needed an injection of that, and honestly, Bishop could have a long NHL career playing that kind of game as a 4C. IMO, it was a good deal for both teams. Most of our AHL defensemen were in Europe and we needed another defensive prospect to play in Chicago, and Paquette plays a high-end 4th line game for good teams and has given our 4th line a nice boost because of it.
