Not by much, hopefully. Granlund's underlying numbers show he's bound to score less points next season. If we overpay, I think we'll be kicking ourselves for years to come.

His arbitration deal probably would've been in the mid 4's for a 1 or 2 year deal. Getting him at just over 5 for 5 years is great.

Also, good for him for being to get to his next deal before 30.

I was thinking 5.5 for Nino and 6.5 for Granlund. Now I'm sort of wondering if Granlund will be closer to 6. That's my new prediction for him. If that happens, we basically save 750k from my earlier prediction of 12 million between the two of them. That's a full 4th line player.
