Teemu Selanne was the first to come to mind in modern hockey.now you have me wondering has any 36, 37, 38, 39, 40 year old ever had a stretch like that (assuming no), then what’s the closest anyone has gotten in the 38-40 year window....to those totals?
years old: 40 goals (in 80 games)
years old: 48 goals (in 82 games)
years old: 12 goals (in 26 games)
years old: 27 goals (in 65 games)
years old: 27 goals (in 54 games)
years old: 31 goals (in 73 games)
years old: 26 goals (in 82 games)
years old: 12 goals (in 46 games)
then 9 in 64 before retirement. 232 goals after 35 in like 572 games, about a .4 goal per game pace.
