Anyone know how much refs/linesmen get paid? I remember hearing that veterans make up to as much as $250,000. I was just curious, I also heard they make the most out of all the pro sports.

thats severely underpaid ... wow I could make more than them when I finish school.
IMO, the NFL is a business dream ... low employees salaries except for head coach and you can cut any player who underperform anytime you want.

And the NHL players were complaining about this cba ...

These are all taken from their maximum for veterans from vanekandmax2661 post. It can differ from how many years youve reffed. As you see, the NFL refs get close to $5000 per a game. The NFL refs work part time pretty much. Its like going to work for 16 days a year and making $70k.

Not quite on the NHL refs. They have a maximum of 73 regular season games. They get paid extra for any over 73 (1/73 of annual salary). The top paid officials would then get $3014 per game in the NHL.

For the playoffs the working refs get ~$13.5k per round. They would earn an additional $55k for reffing through the finals.

Also there are quite a few of them that are lawyers or investment bankers or have other jobs that make very good money.

Also, not sure is the 115,000 for referees or linesmen? I remember reading about a local guy who finally got his callup to the NHL as a linesmen that started right around 75K; not sure if this was the year right before the lockout or right after. In any event if linesmen now start at 115,000 that's quite the new contract they got.

NHL Refs deserve every penny im a ref and Hockey is the toughest sport to ref

I'd say it's the most physically demanding sport to ref in, but the NFL has got to be the toughest/ involve the most pressure.
