Yeah, but the cheapshotting/dirty play, and all his other antics, have never screamed "leader" to me.
Never know. We aren’t in the room. Could be nothing more then a ceremonial honor for him this year.
Marchand is a turd. But he's their turd in the Boston lockerroom. That said, it's not much better than if the Bulls named Rodman the captain. You want your Captain to have a bit more emotional restraint. Marchand has none.

I walked past Babcock at the Amsterdam airport when they were coming home from Denmark. Can't remember why NHL people were there, I think some worlds or something. He was on the phone just yelling at someone while eating a salad. Talking about "not my f***ing problem.. like it or don't its happening"
