I think the actual difference between McGinn and Ryan is pretty clear, don't you? They're totally different players in totally different roles, even if they are about the same caliber of player.

Mcginn Ryan and stempniak don't seem like they belong together, to me. They all have different skill sets but they don't seem to complement each other well. I guess the logic was that mcginn could create space while stempniak could dish to Ryan, but I didn't really see any of that happening. I'd rather them keep stempniak with Skinner and rask and let lindholm center Ryan and mcginn.
