Yeah that was almost as bad as the Beav's running for 300 yards against USC. Notre Dame is only playing a partial ACC schedule so they can't win it.

My dark horse is Wake. They returned 19 of 21 starters with a bunch of 'super seniors'.

I wanted to go with Wisconsin again but I just can’t put any faith into Mertz. If he wasn’t one of if not the worst starting QB in the P5 I would actually like that matchup for Wisconsin elsewhere.

To me it feels like Wisconsin always has issues at QB. If they ever get that sorted out to where the QB is a weapon that teams need to game plan against, watch out because they seem to have all the areas covered.

To me it feels like Wisconsin always has issues at QB. If they ever get that sorted out to where the QB is a weapon that teams need to game plan against, watch out because they seem to have all the areas covered.

Wisconsin plays football like it’s the 90’s still. They put everything on their run game & defense. Mertz can’t even manage the game right now which they typically have at the QB position.

That philosophy limits their ceiling but it’s probably good enough in a weaker Big Ten West Division to get like 8 wins or so a year.

I think they really need to look at getting a dual threat QB and add some RPO to the offense. If they get a Desmond Ridder or that guy from Liberty I think they would be so much harder to defend.
