Can someone explain to me why the new UConn home rink only has 2,000 seats?
Ran over budget and to keep the project moving, things had to be sacrificed...
They'll need a waiver to remain in Hockey East

Unfortunately Hockey East has cooled off quite a bit after a really hot start for many of the teams.

Before the Christmas break.. Merrimack, BU, Providence, UConn, and Lowell all sat in the top 16 pairwise to make the ncaa tourney. Now, only BU is above the cut off

The league is deep. They're clobbering each other. Only Northeastern has a losing record out of conference (HE teams are 53-35-8 vs. the rest of college hockey).

Indeed, they eat each other alive in Hockey East. It's brutal, but it's fun as a fan.

Hope to see Mike Grier walking around Agganis this evening.

Yup the out of conference of late has dropped some. Lowell got swept by Alaska Anchorage and it plumped them

I went to the Harvard-Colgate game sitting next to proud papa Regis McGuire who saw his son score a goal.
