Love Naz, really happy for him. He did mess up here though. Getting suspended back to back years when needed most in the playoffs. Death warrant. Everyone here would rather have Naz than JT. The Naz, JT is a long running soap opera. From the OHL to the NHL.

Thats really sad if getting into the 2nd round of the playoffs is actually some sort of achievement in itself.
Happy for him, will always have a soft spot for Naz. Dude had an absolutely incredible season too!
Honestly, giving up on a talented, reasonably young player (on a GREAT contract) just because he got 2 playoff suspensions is pretty dumb in retrospect. That's the kind of thing that can be coached out of you. I believe he's only been suspended once since we traded him? It was another playoff suspension, but I believe in 3 regular seasons and 3 playoffs with the Avs, that's the only one. And despite that suspension, he does have 34 points in 33 playoff games with the Avs, a very strong playoff contributor (despite sometimes crossing the line with overly dirty plays).
