Rookie defenseman are going to look bad on teams that don’t have guys to insulate them. Duncan Keith was a hot mess for a year or two.

He was also a hot mess last year.

I'm not worried about any incoming D-men "looking bad" lest of all Joker and Boqvist when he makes his NHL debut. I think we all know young Dmen make mistakes. What I am worried about is Q not letting them get through their growing pains.

As someone who is from a family with a history of back problems, all of these timetables are really just estimates. back stuff is notoriously hard to put time tables on. Wouldn't be shocked if it's much logner than 12 weeks.

Yea, 12 weeks with a back injury sounds really serious, like a slipped disc or worse. Rarely does it completely go away. It could come back at any time. Doesn't sound good to me.
