Can we win another tomorrow? Tampa have been under the radar mediocre for much of this year, before a fairly recent surge, which has since been halted a bit.

Our game against them in early January was really good, but our second game against them in late January to go into the break was one of the worst games we’ve played this year. Vitek happened to look good that night and Vasilevskiy gave up a pretty bad one. That managed to avoid a blowout loss and be a close one goal loss.

Well this time Vitek isn't in goal so who knows what happens tonight.

His first game against them was, I don’t wanna say one of his worst, but it was not good. Two goals under his left elbow, including the OT winner.

The second game against them was definitely in his top-3 performances on the season. It was the type of game that we easily could have lost 7-2, but we lost 4-3 (I think 5-3 with the empty better) because Vitek was good and Vasilevskiy was pretty meh, but Vasilevskiy only faced 25 shots to Vitek’s 40.

They really have to win tomorrow. They are badly badly badly in need of positive momentum and it puts them 3 points behind Tampa with games in hand.

Could regain most of the ground they lost this week to Philly assuming Pitt does us a favor too.

Devils players need to realize this and LEAVE IT ALL OUT ON THE ICE and block shots and scratch and claw and do whatever it takes to get 2 points tonight....but more importantly : Get 2 points in REGULATION.
