Was at the game, my god it was frustrating lmao. The talent on this team should not be struggling this much. FIRE THE COACH

I feel like an ass for saying this since they have won ten in a row lmao but they haven’t look great doing it

I am deaf from all the kids screaming in 106 today

Today you missed Dano reference the deserve to win o meter.

"Did you see the deserve to win o meter from the previous game" (or something like that) and he and Bill had a short dialogue on it

Truly he must read this board.

I am planning on going tomorrow, I am not sure j should torture myself but if they win we will be inching back in.

From my vantage point the second goal wasn't a bad one. The Devils left a weak side player wide open for the 10th time in the game and it's not easy to stop a guy like Suzuki when he's given all day to walk in and rip one.

Analytically Daws allowed 3 on approximately 3.1 expected, so it's hard to say he didn't do what he was supposed to.

It eeked in short side, id say more stoppable than not, but it is true we let him (skill guy) zoom in with speed and that absolutely factored into the goal shot itself.

Not really, they put Miller on the second unit and thats it, the first unit was the same.

If we could get a miller shot with accuracy, we would essentially have what Dougie is, probably slightly more power but Dougie has an absolute bomb too.

And the old mid-2000s mind in me wishes they had the NHL edge stats (or ESPN live star) when Kovy was in his prime or even young preprime. His slapper was absolute crazy and to see what numbers he'd get in some one timers would be very curious.

Missing new Dano lore is heartbreaking

Yeah Miller is pretty much all shot, I wouldn't want to be in front with him just firing away, just too wild. He can't really quarterback a PP though, maybe ok as a featured shooter.

Dougie is a really good distributer up top, he's great at creeping in and out to create a shot for himself too. He's got a bomb of a shot and very accurate. As long as the puck doest get past him we're good cause he slow as hell lol..

Nemec is the best guy we have (with Dougie out) to qb a powerplay and Lindy decides to take him off all together. It's insane. Nemec has elite distribution skills and his shot finds lanes through constantly.

I get that Luke is immensely talented, but I don't think I've ever seen a player with a worse ability to get pucks through. Try to keep this in mind and watch for it when he shoots. The puck will get blocked or deflected every. single. time.

His decision making with the puck is also not effective. He's either making the obvious play and just laying it off to the flanks or he's turning it over with a wild blind pass.

Dougie's shot is so good because he doesn't need like any windup and he's really good at hitting the net. I swear miller hits the target at a 15% rate.

I haven't watched the broadcasts much this year but I noticed Bill referencing Bahl's analytics from the Ranger game and I just laughed and rolled my eyes

Well he hits pads a lot, he just has no hope of getting it into actual corners.

He's the Anti-Rolston whereas good ol' Brian would hit the windows (and break some of them) with his shots but miss the pads, the goaltender, the net...everything. :D

Definitely a nice move. Glad to see he backed off, made Allen commit and then like you said, went upstairs.

Have to say, for a fairly decent size crowd, the place was about as dead as I've ever heard it with that many fans.
The game was meh would’ve def had more juice if they beat the rangers.

4LW Smith tomorrow!

You know holtz, smith, Tierney gonna get more icetime tomorrow. Could use a big game from the depth guys for sure. Ruff basically said in his post game that he's expecting them to have legs to tomorrow (those guys)

Curious if Halonen will get in the lineup, not sure it's the right moment though, Tierney wasn't and hasn't been bad recently. (Minus giving up the shot for a pass today, lol)

If Nosek was just scratched just because, then he may get back in.
