Wouldn't be surprised if the Komets and Wild (formerly Orlando affiliate) agree to an affiliation agreement. Close to Iowa and Minnesota. Would work for everyone. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

More News on the Road Warriors
When Trenton closed its doors after the season, the Flyers/Phantoms needed a new ECHL affiliate.
That new affiliate will be the teams' old affiliate: Greenville, as reported by Bill Meltzer.
The Flyers will share that affiliate with the Rangers, which is not uncommon at that level.
Ten players on the Phantoms 2012-13 roster spent time with Trenton, ranging from a couple of games to most of the season.

Has anyone seen any confirmation on this? None of the teams involved seem to have made any official announcements and the ECHL and Greenville pages still list the Islanders as Greenville's only NHL affiliate, while the Flyers' only listed affiliate (on their webpage) is the Phantoms.
Greenville/ECHL may need to be updated as Isles seem to be "only" affiliated with Stockton.
As for who Flyers will affiliate with, we are less than a week into August. (Sharks sometimes wait until like September to confirm their affiliate) If there's still no announcement in four weeks, then start to worry.

I wonder how this effects Calgary...
