Well, one of the good changes Musk brought to X is the Community Notes. So if someone posts blatantly false information to try and get engagement or spread falsehoods, the users can vote on attaching a Community Note to the tweet, which would (among other things) address the falsehood and prevent the user from receiving any monetary gain from the tweet.

Unless you're Musk, who routinely removes the Community Notes from his own posts.
