I've noticed that in the last few years, including several times this season- touch doesn't equal possession like it used to. These days you actually do have to get some degree of control over the puck rather than just whacking it. It's a good tweak, IMO.

I literally think the touch rule is one of the worst rules in the league. Always thought teams should have do more to have the whistle blown to start the PP. Like get possession past your blue line or something.

Definitely wasnt the case like two games ago. Opposing team barely poked it and wham whistle!!
