And now on top of the huge layer of ice in my driveway will be 20cm of snow. I'm desperate for some above 0 temperatures so this thing can melt away or at least get a bit softer so I can shovel it to the side. Right now it's just completely solid.

Snow and cold are wastes of time. More time to dress, time to shovel, take the snow off your car, people driving slower, etc
