Lucic - McDavid - Pulju
Slepy - RNH - Drai
Maroon - Cagguila - Eberle
Pouliot - Letestu - Pitlick

swap Pulju and Eberle depending on who EARNS it. Top 3 RWs can move up or down tbh.

Klefbom - Larsson
Nurse - Davidson
Russell - Sekera

Iagree with most people moving away from the 3C / 3 lines thing. We could've with Hall but we don't have the offensive talent to do it any more.

Based on nothing but merit so far this season I'd make this forward lineup:

Slepyshev-McDavid-Puljujarvi
Lucic-Lander-Maroon
Kassian-Pitlick-Eberle
Pouliot-RNH-Draisaitl

Players that have played the best are in the lineup and the lines are based on combos that would give the opposition the most difficulty in countering them.

Pitlick Center? Not his thing. Maybe Kassian could based on his PK abilities.
Lander second line? Guy is an offensive black hole. He is a PK specialist

I think it's time to try Nuge on the wing. As a center, he's horrible at face offs, isn't big/strong/smart enough to be an elite shutdown guy. His defensive play at best, is a bit above average and all this emphasis on D has crippled his offense. It's pretty apparent that Draisaitl will be the better Center going forward, why not try to get nuge thinking more offense.

Lucic McD Nuge
Maroon Drai Eberle/slepy
Pouliot Drake slepy/eberle
Kassian Hendricks/letestu Pitlick

Lander has a better 5v5 PPG/60 this season than RNH, Caggiula, Pouliot, Letestu, Hendricks and Kassian.

We could use a RW scoring type that can play a two-way game, I know everyone here loves Tyler Pitlick but defensively he's non-existent. Slot him in on the 3rd line as a placeholder for now. That's probably where a veteran pickup at the deadline comes into play.

You know, the lines that outscored the opposition 16-5. I'm no math genius but 16-5 is a big goal differential. Winning by a lot of goals is a good thing but what do I know, I'm a lowly 985678 tier fan.

This. Not sure about Hendricks though. Letestu or Lander. Same lines for pp.

I was just listing the lineup from the 3 game winning streak to make a point but I agree, Hendricks out and Letestu in with Cagguila to wing is the change I would make to that winning lineup. Those lines just look so much better on paper as well compared to the mess that Mclellan is creating now.

Also, did McWoodcroft move Sekera and Letestu to the top unit? Oh the humanity.
Here's a thought, how about adding a player who can actually freaking one time a puck to the top unit? Puljujarvi, even Slepyshev or Pitlick would be better options than Letestu in that spot. Mind boggling that they haven't tried one of them yet.

Am I the only one happy to see Pouliot-RNH-Eberle back ? they had chemistry in the past and it's worth a shot putting them together again.

The rookie right shot with a cannon isn't worthy of practicing one-timers but Mark ****ing Letestu is.
Idiot.
