See, that's why I don't like Garland, they do a good job extending the offensive possession, he has a chance to just walk right out in front and instead chickens out and curls back so he can make a meh pass to the middle.

Garland was easily one of their best forwards tonight

Their top 3 players were their worst players today. Recipe for disaster

This game really highlighted the weaknesses in our defensive lineup. When Hughes and Hronek are kept in check, there's an absence of a third Dmen who can step up and compensate.

Yup and Zadorov wouldn't do much to change that. Need another top 3 dman like Hamhuis

Calm down Francis at least the 4th line isn’t costing 12 million anymore

I don't know what you're referring to, there was nothing wrong with how Hughes played tonight.

A giveaway that ended up in his own net and did not play his best game national media hype day he was ok but thats all Eastern media be back saying well he's ok needed better so did most of the team

Damn have to cheer for krakers

Get Myers off this team. He shows ok playing lower minutes for a few games which bamboozles yet another coach that we can rely on him to not play like complete chaos against better teams and he folds.
Ah yes, everything is once again Myers' fault. Literally dozens of negative comments in the GDT as per usual. Never mind that Hronek was worse and all the stars were garbage too. And let's not forget Demko (and his abysmal .773 save % with at least a couple of bad goals) who has some deluded fans here already talking VEZINA and who got comments of "not indestructable" and "not his best game" as his harshest criticisms tonight. He was lousy pure and simple. So was Petey. So were most of the team. Demko seems immune from criticism here.

It was a weird bounce, he should have been more careful on that play maybe but his overall game was really solid and he still created chances offensively including a great play off the crossbar. Better than in the Ottawa game where he looked a little sluggish.

Pettersson will not take himself out during contract year. It would take major balls by the coaching staff to shut him down for a bit.

Could have easily put this game away, we were dominant in the first period and had our chances on the PP.

After it was 2-1 we could and should have played much tighter defensively to at least try and make it to OT and secure a point.

As it was, we out-shot Toronto and outplayed them for large stretches. An off night for Demko and puck luck were the main differences tonight. On to the next.
