Why would anyone include JVR or Bozak to Vancouver? Both players have the clause that they can submit a list of teams they can or cannot be traded to.
Who the hell would want to go to Vancouver at this point in their career? Vancouver is in that almost okay territory which buys you neither a championship
run or a decent draft pick. There would be literately no reason to want to play in Vancouver for JVR and Bozak and it would be incredibly bad for the
Canucks to think they could build something with what they got. People seem to forget the Leafs had a long run of successful 'almost greatness'. And there's
a decade where the Leafs don't have a top 10 draft pick and look where that took the club. Not a chance to win the Cup, not a chance to improve the club enough.
You just can't trade for the pieces. It ain't going to happen. If Vancouver made a deal for JVR and/or Bozak, the only reason would be to try and insure a
round of playoff revenue. That's pathetic long term thinking. Blow up, draft your Lemieux, Crosby, or Matthews.
