Engvall keeps slipping and that suprises me immensely. Guy has gotta be in the top 10 (I had him 7th).

Had to pick Engvall. Showing he belonged on the Marlies during his first stint means a lot. That is a big measuring stick for me and why I've been high on Grundstrom.

Crazy how far Ozhiganov is slipping. Are we sleeping on him? Is he a comparable prospect to when Zaitsev came over two years ago?

Aaltonen is on this list because the leafs retain his rights but he should not be on this list. He is not coming back.

Moore was really, really good in the Marlies playoff run. Not Johnsson good but he was taking over offensive shifts on a nightly basis. He should be old enough to make the jump soon if he ever does.
I'm liking Moore, Engvall and Woll still. I still don't know too much about SDA or Stotts though.

I think Aaltonen should be removed because people are not voting for him since he wont be back. Hes a significantly better "prospect" than anybody left so maybe twke him out before he ends up lower than he deserves?

As stated above he also wont be back... I know its been discussed in a few of the other polls, but hes gonna drop till we get low in the list and then he'll kinda ruin the list with his wrong placement.

I think we are gettig to the point where there is a legit case for multiple people and it comes down to preferences and perhaps who the flashier/newer prospect is. Lots of guys with similar potential here.

I didn’t even think we had Joshua still. Did we sign him to a contract?

No not yet. IIRC he has finished his junior year and probably going back for his senior season. What happens after that is anyone's guess given guys have the UFA option after waiting a couple months. But he's still our prospect as of now.

People will probably not vote Aaltonen because they don't think he's coming back. But I wouldn't vote for him for a couple polls anyway, there's not a ton of upside there, and the KHL 2 year contract does reduce the 'closeness' factor

The Leafs made a qualifying offer to Aaltonen this summer in order to retain his rights, even though he had signed with the KHL.
