i've been thinking of that.

or treat like icing?

one is too harsh....the other might bog down the extra time to a shit slow..... the ending like a basketball game.

Managed to get a ticket 13 rows from the ice for 26$ on tickpick.

This was a typical Devils win, give up the 1st goal , Vitek letting in some questionable goals and the team managing to get there act together to find a way to win.

Glad Toffoli had a huge game , seeing the ice raining hats after it was all said and done was a thing of beauty. Lazar also came up huge with his 2nd goal.

I guess we can say both teams dressed their backup goalies today. Adam Hill is 10-2-2 in the 15 games he as played in while posting a .933 SV% and a 1.93 GAA. He has been out for a month but those are insane stats , especially for current times. Vitek played good enough for us to win but a solid outing by Daws and that 4th and maybe 5th goal don't ever go in.

Just keep taking it 1 game at a time here. Still alot of key players out , hopefully we can stabilize as they slowly come back from injury.

They were very loud on TV.

Some boos and gripes, but I didn't hear any fire lindys tonight. At least not like in the Dallas game.

Toffoli getting a quick one back really helped restore the fans good feelings going into the 2nd intermission.

But, we were down, went up, went down again and the boys didn’t give up and came out of it with the W. This was a hard fought win.

It was a good crowd. Nice to see the building packed for a Monday night game against a smaller market team. If this was 2 or 3 years ago than the arena probably would have only had like 12 to 13k fans in attendance tops. Winning certainly helped bring new fans back but also the older ones who weren't as prone to go see them play a weeknight game.

When you look at who we are missing from the lineup and that Vitek started this game than this win is more impressive. It wasn't pretty but the ending certainly was.

I know we gave up 5 goals but 2 of those are deff on Vitek. All things considered though Marino , Bahl , Luke , Nemec , Foote , Hatakka is a crazy young lineup on defense. Marino is the oldest at 26 years old. 635 games of NHL experience amongst all 6 of them combined and Marino counts for almost 300 of those games with Bahl playing in a shade over 100. That is a inexperienced bunch lol.
