Whatever the amount is, I'm hoping it's for longer than the 2 years Demers got. With the cap going up and Braun getting better, I hope DW is willing to overpay now (especially with the room the Sharks have) to lock Braun down for a while. Braun isn't going to be as underrated as he is now forever.

Braun has had only one good year. So hopefully its on the cheaper side, if he has another year like 13/14 in 14/15… he will commanded a lot more.

It's been like a year and a half of incredibly consistent play. Hopefully he comes cheap but he most probably deserves up to $4m to me.

Unfortunately, I agree. Just using Demers as a dipstick, you have to give Braun at least 4M.

There aren't many. If I really had to pick younger guys who can eat extremely tough minutes and come out ahead while not putting up a lot of offense then it'd have to be Hjalmarsson and Vlasic. In the general range, Gorges too. They're all floating around $4-4.25m
