He's the #7 defender by default now. So it's expected.

I don't think he'll go back down anytime soon though. They'll need him up for depth.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind to move on. It's not like he has to hide too much since he has a limited NTC and can control his destination to a certain degree.

I think his health and contract make him stay in Toronto for the time being, not by him 'hiding'.

Lupul sprained his neck checking his blind spot on the way to practice.

Considering our #1 defender is out with injury, I can't see him going down unless they want him to play for the Leafs game and then play with the Marlies for a game the next day. Now that the Marlies are having some injury problems, I wouldn't be too surprised to see this happen.
