A little more than I expected, but only Dean truly knows the market. He'll be fine and should be good for about 15 games.

I think they have to offer a little more here since the player knows he's not going to get the opportunity to play much.

I follow Buffalo area sports closely. Enroth is a good goaltender. He'll put up much better numbers playing behind a quality defense. Good signing.

Don't mind it at all. Gives our youngsters an extra year to perk, can play for a longer stretch should Quick go down, doesn't cost a ton, and will have a better defense in front of him then in Buffalo

I was expecting a six figure goalie though. No big deal. He's serviceable and LA will make him look like a world beater. I've seen him more than a few times and I thought he was solid.

He was fantastic for Sweden last year but fairly mediocre this past spring for them. Wasn't very good in the NHL this past season. On the bright side he's young and has some upside.

If he signed for 2 years, it's probably under a million on average. Signs for 1 year, a higher dollar amount for this one year. Lombardi probably wasn't offering a 2 year deal. Sort of like the Mitchell situation back in 2010. Whoever else it was, Washington and SJ I think, probably offered more for 1 year, but Lombardi went 2 years(I think), a lower cap hit, but more overall money.

Being from Buffalo, yes. Although his numbers from Buffalo were a tad inflated because when you get like 50 shots against a night your save percentage is bound to look nice.

Enroth was my #2 preference after Greiss, whom LeBrun said the Kings went hard after. So no complaints here.
