Yeah, it's fair but obviously tougher for teams without a deep farm system like Jokerit or Minsk.

So Severstal on their way to 8 wins in a row and 9 in the last 10. Absolutely amazing considering the roster of that team. Razin runs his mouth slightly too much for my liking but whatever coaching he does obviously works wonders.

And that's with their starting goalie injured pretty much the whole season long.

I will just add that it is the league´s policy - the teams affected by virus can skate their depth players. There is no room for rescheduling, especially in Olympic season.

Unless it is one of the big teams like Ufa asking for rescheduling?

Alexander Andrievsky has left the Admiral head coach post. This is going to be a tougher season for the Vladivostok team.

Speaking of Lars Johansson, he not only great in KHL, but also in NT.

What is going on with Yaroslav Askarov? He hasn't played much this season for SKA- anyone reckon he's been set aside?

What's a good website to get info on KHL teams, example I can't find home and away records.

SKA should throw big money at Quenneville. They have pockets as deep as Mariana Trench and can pay him more than any NHL club, especially after taxes. And I doubt, he'll get any NHL job anytime soon anyway. If Bob Hartley can be successful in Russia, why Quenneville can't? Of course, he won't let Rotenberg to mess with the team the way he does it now, and it can actually be a reason, why SKA won't hire coach Q.

I use soccerstand.com, their database is amazing. From lineups, to statistics, to standings, player stats, etc. And it has virtually every league out there in one place.
I was keen to check out what this is, and it seems to be just another name for flashcore? Either way, I use it for all sports too and it's amazing so I second this

It appears so. I actually had no idea, I wonder which one came first or how they became connected. I'm pretty sure they used to be separate things like 15 years ago

Barys scratch their captain and league's best paid player Dietz as the team is in a deep hole. Rumors going around that today's game in case of an another loss might be the last for Mikhailis at the post.

They are 6 points out of the playoffs which is definitely both a pretty significant hole and a massive underachievement for that roster. Dietz being scratched "sends a message" but I think even more than that signifies Mikhailis is at the end of the rope.

The only bright spot is that his son is scoring over PPG and probably has to be in the conversation to move to the NHL.

Zaripov with 900 games for Ak Bars, with 429 goals being 2nd in Soviet/Russian hockey history.

"I would like to say SORRY to Mihailov for overtaking him, but it is hockey. Regarding Mozyakin´s record ...it is unreal for me to match his record. And I am responsible for that, I assisted him on too much goals! It is an honour for me to being 2nd sniper in Russian hockey history," said Zaripov.

Top snipers on club level of all Soviet & Russian hockey history: Sergei Mozyakin (556 goals), Danis Zaripov (429), Boris Mikhailov (428), Vyacheslav Starshinov (408), Alexei Guryshev (379)

After 35 games in the West the difference between 1st and 9th is only 12 points . One of the most competitive seasons since I watch KHL.
