Well, at least we get possibly something for him.

Loading up on those 2015 6th and 7th rounders.

Good to have, you can trade them to move up in the 5th round perhaps. I wonder what the conditional part means, if they sign him does it go higher, or does it mean that if they don't sign him we lose the pick?

The Jets have two 6th's and three 7th's I believe. Good year to load up.

My guess is that if Buffalo signs him, WPG gets the 7th, if they don't sign him, then no draft pick gets traded

a 7th round pick has no value, but if he had no chance of playing here, might as well let him go.

No big surprise. When he didn't sign for a playoff run in St. John's last year I was fairly certain that he was done with Winnipeg. Too bad a prospect I really liked.

He obviously decided he didn't want to sign here for whatever the reason , he held the control so hopefully Buffalo can sign him and we at least get a late pick .

Not like extra 2nd's or 3rd's but as the listed players show , not impossible to get an asset. We now have 5 very late picks , we can trade a couple for a higher pic, maybe do that more than once to get a mid round pick , or stay with the picks and see if we find a gem .

Not surprising that a lot of the players are non NA's , and that wouldn't be bad strategey , much like the Kraskovsky selection this year. Load up up Euros.
