I'll put myself out there on Quick.

Hands down and well known amongst my friends that if I had to pick another goalie other than Henrik during that era it would be Quick. I just loved how he played. (not the typical blocking/butterfly)

Love his style when he's locked in. Exciting and fun. Just plain scary when he isnt tho. Hope he stays in the zone.

It’s better than ‘Trouba is worse than Putin’ and the daily dunk on the rongos thread. There are a few honest interesting contributors on the main boards but it’s mostly a hell hole. They deserve some upbeat rangers propaganda.

Not a single, soul myself included thought JQ would contribute like this. Let's count our blessing he's playing at this level while Igor seems to be slumping.

I know Quick has been playing well for sure, but don't metrics in terms of who the goalies are playing against matter?

7 of the 11 teams that Quick has played are ranked 16 and below and 3 of those 7 are ranked at the bottom five of the NHL pile.

Trust me, I'm he's winning games but if he's going to be #1 I'd like to see him against the majority of teams that can score more goals than they give up.
