Absolutely agree................Allen should have been there to help, instead, he took 20 starts away from the kids in the NHL............Hughes was far too stubborn...

The vet forwards were fine, although they all missed time especially Stephens and Andersson. Might have been good to target a goalscorer.

Keeper wasn't great, but the main issue is that he missed more than half the season. Bisson struggled early on but has been good. Norlinder should have been traded for a defensive minded D weeks ago. Struble staying up was very bad for the blueline.

Mann hasn't been great but Kaskisuo has been fine.

They couldn't do that to Allen after re-signing him last year. It's different than Armia because that was a Bergie contract. There's a people component to any organization and Hughes provided the rationale in a recent press conference. Many have sung Hughes praises for how he has treated them and this can go along way at some point for both signing free agents and retaining our own players.

I’ve been vocal about getting away from the Alumni club hires for along time & some don’t want to hear it. Houle has done a terrible job, that’s not hate that’s fact. Same as Burrows with the big club. Pro sports are about result's and it’s big business meritocracy. We need HuGo to move us away from the frat house hires.
