You’re not trying to create excuses for Thornton here, are you? This is as obvious as it gets. There is nothing questionable about it, and the saving grace for Thornton here is that the player seems to be okay.

But there should be no doubt he’s going to sit.

These playoffs seem to have some pretty dirty plays.


I wonder if it is mostly to do with the divisional matchups and teams playing each other so often from one year to the next or if this is due to officiating or just an outlier.

We didnkt have this many dirty plays under the old format.

NFL players get suspended for the year for smoking pot, NHL players can almost kill someone and only get 2 games .

Imagine punching your most hated person you work with and getting a $600 fine and 2 days off work and then that's it .
