My longtime corporate contact at a company that shall not be named had an interesting encounter with Goldie, back in the early days when the Goldeyes played at the football stadium. He got picked for some on-field shenanigans and had imbibed enough to lower his inhibitions. So, when he saw Goldie nearby, he bolted (heh heh) toward him and tackled him to the ground. Except it wasn't a him. The woman in the costume let out a horrified shriek, started wailing on him ( as much as you can wail on somebody when you're in a mascot outfit) and needless to say, he was escorted from the stadium.

Lowry coming back is a blessing. Moreover, when Kulikov comes back, Poolman will get to play with one of Enstrom and Kuli. Should be a good learning experience for him, having an actual NHL defenseman with a fair bit of experience next to him.
