If you want to dream big, you dream about him following the same trajectory as a D like Josh Manson, or maybe even Muzzin.

Nice post. I too hope the organization has a spot for Stu!

Nogier is apparently a pretty smart guy, saw already that he makes fast reads and moves the puck when he is supposed to.
Next year on the Moose!!!!!

As I noted before, the dream outcome is Josh Manson. Smart, good skater, low scorer before the NHL, blossoms at age 23 and never looks back.

Odds are low, but never say never.

I've always liked the look of Nogier on the ice. Smart and nice kid. Might be able to put it together.

Nogier is earning his keep. Twelve relatively worry free minutes tonight.

IMO Nogier is making a case for himself. Love the fact he is only 20 y/o. I'm starting to have lots of hope for this kid.

I watched him pretty closely last night. I think there is a strong possibility that he will be a pretty good NHLer. At 20 yo playing his second NHL game ever, he doesn't look out of place and for stretches he actually looked damn good.

Well if we can get a defensively responsible 3rd pairing dmen that can skate and move the puck fairly well from a 4th round pick I'll be pretty happy. It's early but he has shown a number of tools that make me think he can carve out a role for himself if he keeps improving.

I think he could replace Stu tomorrow. Him and Myers would make a pretty good 3rd pair.

He needs another year in the AHL working on what he does on the offensive side of the ice. Easily on track for 5/6/7 guy in the NHL though.

Yes easily. Nogier was one of the guys I really liked on the Moose. Was very glad to see the callup. He will be an NHL defenseman, which in itself is a major accomplishment for a 4th round pick. He was a nobody in Jr so gotta give Jets scouts a pat on the back for that pick.
