Been away for much of the past week, bleeding blue, red and silver, catching as much Jets hockey as possible.

The next game is going to be a challenge. Honestly the Avs are scary good this year. That forward group has got the ability to tilt the ice/change the game/dominate for lengthy segments of time. They have something intangible, confidence, chemistry and talent, all coming together... and they may be a real beast in the playoffs.

Verdict: Jets will need a *great* effort plus most of the luck and bounces to take this game. We can go get it, but will need something really special.

Ergo, it's doable.

I thought it was because of Copp going down, but Sip's treatment may have been more important to the team
