This is not the time to be rushing back Kotkaniemi, especially if Rod feels his presence is impacting the play of the 4th line and by extension the team.

He needs to be healthy for the postseason, especially if Rod thinks a 4th line of Kotkaniemi, Stepan, and a good wing can tilt the ice in the Canes' favor multiple times a game.

My guess is not at all, not even remotely. We have a playoff spot locked up, absolutely no reason to rush him back before he's completely ready.

Well based on his comments, Rod obviously thinks he's useless and doesn't care if he gets hurt.
