He is a solid d-man too. But why hide him at AHL level then ?Pigeonholing Xhekaj as a fighter will be a mistake for the team and player long term

They now have the luxury of having too many solid young guys at the position and there's things he demonstrated he needs to work on, especially as the season wore on. He has decent puck skills and I think they can allow him to work on that more in the AHL than he could in the NHL. I think he, Barron and Slaf should all be in the AHL getting the most minutes possible until they play well enough that it forces management's hand - or injuries or trades do the same thingHe is a solid d-man too. But why hide him at AHL level then ?
