Incredibly smart player, pens don't win in 2017 without him. But time to part ways. Good luck.
Agreed. He put up a Conn Smythe worthy performance in 2017. For that alone I will have fond memories of him and that would be the case even if he sucked every year after that. And he obviously didn't suck every year after that. He gave us a lot of productive seasons.Incredibly smart player, pens don't win in 2017 without him. But time to part ways. Good luck.
I'm still weeping at the sad return for Jake. Ty Smith may also be the best prospect in the trade (the only 1st rounder). Its hard to believe this was the best offer on the table and it reeks of Dumbas still having his Bunting blinders on from TOR days. Bunting isn't even a .5pt/g player on a $4.5m/year contract and CAR is instantly better with him not on their team. He has negative value in the trade and takes too many penalties.
Well, Bunting is useless to us though. We are not contending. Hopefully they ship him out and get more assets... or maybe they re-sign Guentzel and Bunting becomes a good 2nd liner for usTy Smith is not the best prospect in the trade. Bunting is scoring at 0.6 pt/g.
Yea, we should be moving anything we can at this point, but I think most of the pieces we want out are immovable.Well, Bunting is useless to us though. We are not contending. I honestly just hope they can unload a few more bodies and give the few prospects we have a shot to see what we have.
I don't. Jake's next deal has a huge chance of being terribly regretful towards the end of it. It is time to move on, for sure.f***ing jerk ...
I hope he goes to the finals and then comes back here on July 1 for a reasonable deal.
