So there's talk Jagr is thinking about nto returning to Florida.

What about adding him to our third line?

I just want to see him in the blue and orange, and to hit a bunch of milestones in it.

I say yes but only because we share the same exact birthday and I can live vicariously through him.

I don't think Jagr will sign to play on the third line, he'll go where he gets top-6 minutes. And personally I wouldn't mind him, though I think the Isles will be too fast to make full use of him.

Eventhough he's still a productive player, I don't like the idea of adding a legendary player who is clearly at the end of his career, when all it will do is prevent a younger player from getting into the lineup.

If it was just some other guy, then ok sure. But with Jagr, he'd never be benched (if need be) just out of respect.

He's past his expiration date. No thanks. Don't want to be the team he is on when eventually something comes out about how he has been able to sustain his longevity in the game beyond the 'hardest worker in game mantra' ....

who needs guys who would be top 5 in scoring on the team?

It's just such a big risk and we've already got enough older guys. He doesn't play a speed game and I think the only area he'd help, and it is important, would be on the power play because he's just so dominant at puck possession.

I like the idea of Jagr being on the team, but I don't think I'd like the reality of it.

He'd be c-blocking a younger player with the potential to produce as much as an old Jagr.

I don't think he'd come here honestly.

Number one reason to want him on the Isles:
To watch Pens fans' heads explode when 68 and 66 take the ice together.

Jagr was rejuvenated playing with kids, throw him to the left of Beau and Ho-Sang.

Where's the love? Aside from knowing a thing or two about hockey, he's always smiling, always happy, and his positive energy would be great for this team. Let's try and sign him up as our power play coach.

Just think of the advertising dollars he'd bring in!

1) Depends
2) Geritol
3) Polident
4) Milk of Magnesia
5) Viagra

Oh boy.

Maybe we could lure Potvin back too.

You have 2 good goalies. You need offense. Call this guy:

How dare you.. Josh Bailey had a career year! Maybe we can sign Scotty Upshall on the cheap and make this the killer first line that Garth Snow dreams about.

Besides Jagr is a locker room cancer with his european style vibe. we cant ruin the chemistry on this team :help:

Im not saying adding Jagr is the right move but I love all the obnoxious NOOOOO answers. The guy would have been 4th on the Isles with points this year, probably higher had he been on a power play with John Tavares.

Then again all these people are the same trolls who jumped all over me last offseason when I said signing Staal to a short term deal would have been the best move Snow could have made.
