lol at all the "good established player plus top prospect plus 1st rounder" proposals. Eichel wouldn't be traded for anything less than a combination of several elite assets (think top pair dman + young top line forward + elite prospect + high 1st rounder). He is never ever going to be traded and that's exactly how it should be, he's what every Sabres fan has been waiting for the last couple of decades.
Wait what is the point of this thread?
Sabres fans need a place to let out their frustrations on people?
Really solid insight...
Overrated players. Worth a top6 forward, B prospect and a 2nd in the following years draft.
Probably more realistic than people asking for several elite assets for a single one.
More realistic on NHL17? Maybe. IRL? Again,
When you get a player like Jack, you don't trade him. Period.

While true, that's not the premise of the thread.
True, because the premise of the thread is completely absurd. Might as well have a thread asking what it would take for Edmonton to move McDavid or Toronto to move Matthews.
But what if he decides to trade himself?
Not enough going to Toronto
Eichel and a 1st for Matthews
The difference between the two isn't even close to a 1st. I still would pick Matthews just from a character POV though, even if they were equal talent wise.

Eichel and Matthews are same level. why is Buffalo adding a 1st?
