Leaf fans also thought that Freddie was trash after his last year with the Leafs. At the start of this year, they thought that Campbell was going to be in the running for the Vezina trophy.

The Oilers just need .915 goaltending which is Campbell's average throughout his career.

Good for him, great guy and deserves every penny. One of the nicest people in the game

Don't know if he's a number 1 though, he has incredible highs but they are matched with his lows. If he can get some consistency he's a very good number 1

No…Leaf fans thought Freddy bailed on the team when they needed him most. Same thing happened in Carolina this year. Always been a big supporter of Jack unlike many Oilers fans who were knocking him heading into the playoffs vs TB. Oilers signed two great human beings in Zach and Jack. You will be happy with soup. Have to think his two month stinker had to be injury related. Just wonder if the big contract will put even more pressure on himself to perform though. Man is he hard on himself even if he is getting better at not showing it.
