"Plan the parade" isn't a jinx, it's one of the dumbest, overused cliches in hockey. In this case, it was a very deliberate poke at hockey fans. The magazine editor knew the headline would piss off fans and sell more copies. What he/she couldn't have known was the level of irony it would reach.

But as someone said, while I could have seen the Leafs not winning a Cup..it’s a tough two month haul, I certainly didn’t think they would only win 1 playoff series. At least this year they lasted longer than the Islanders so Pajama Boy can feel good about that.
