50 was pretty easy. The second part of the list is all close. Burakovsky has the ability to climb was up that list but currently, he's done less or as little as everyone on this list.

Yeah, a good chunk of your first list guys are also not better than Burakovsky.

He's a guy you dress on your 2nd/3rd line because he can explode like he did in Game 7 and get you goals like that.

Is he some 'Legit' top6 forward who can drive offense if you plug him into any lineup? No. But when you have a deep and solid team like Washington, again, Game 7 is evidence as to why you insert him into the lineup.

lol that's the biggest load of crap i've ever heard.

he's a 3rd liner at best right now, and perhaps one day he could bump himself up to the 2nd line, that's basically his upside.

that game 7 crap is nonsense, eventually he was going to score it just so happened that the stars aligned for him that night, nothing more than that.

I don't understand....we seem to be in agreement. He isn't a bonafide top6 forward right now. You question his hockey sense/decision making and defense.

But again, you take a chance on putting him in the lineup and hiding him on your 3rd line because he's gonna get a few rush chances per game, maybe an odd man rush or 2. And it payed off in game 7 after being a healthy scratch for games 1,2, 5.

Coincidentally you'll see he was scratched for 3/4 games all at Amalie, where Trotz can't control last change/matchup. Wonder if it was a coincidence or fear of Tampa exploiting a matchup against him w/ last change.

Maybe 5 are debatable, I'd say. If you disagree, show your work.

More like 20, some of whom he is clearly better than. Raw numbers would be better if he were getting more ice time and more PP time. I already said why he's a top 6 forward to me on the previous page.

The premise is flawed anyway. Are there really 186 'True' top6f in the league? I don't think so, just like there aren't 31 #1 C/D/G etc.

Yikes this. Anyway even if there aren’t 186 top 6 forwards I have Burakovsky close to the 100th best forward or so, still a top-6 Guy.

Does the OP mean to 6 on his team or one of the top 6 fwds in the league? He is a top 6 forward on his team. He maybe cracks the the top 100 forwards in the league
