Nope. Hasn’t cracked 40 points (although he was on pace for 45 ish points last year)
His only points these playoffs came in the most recent one (where he was very good in)
12 points in 44 playoff games
Not good defensively
Not physical
He can still turn it around though but he has stalled. Had only 25 points in 56 games this year. He shows promise and is highly skilled but lacks IQ. Played a lot with some combo of Backstrom/Oshie/Eller/Connolly, most frequently with Backstrom though. As the player he is now, he’s more middle 6 than top 6 but he has potential for more

He's a guy you dress on your 2nd/3rd line because he can explode like he did in Game 7 and get you goals like that.

Is he some 'Legit' top6 forward who can drive offense if you plug him into any lineup? No. But when you have a deep and solid team like Washington, again, Game 7 is evidence as to why you insert him into the lineup.

He is actually good defensively, and has some seriously outstanding skills. His Es scoring numbers are also very impressive.

Not yet. He was expected to take that next step this season but he had a bunch of injuries and frankly looked pretty terrible most of the year. He is the weakest player on the Caps along the boards and gets ragdolled when someone plays him physically. His shot is tremendous but he doesn't have a lot of confidence it (or in himself). He has nice possession metrics which leads me to believe he can be a top 6 sniper but he seems to think the game 3 steps behind. He's supremely talented and if he puts it all together he'll be a 30+ goal scorer but he's not there yet.

He's a legit tweener at the moment. Two big goals don't make him anything more. But give him time.

Good puck carrier. Top 60 in league past two years in 5 on 5 scoring rate - and players typically score more higher up the lineup with better linemates than lower down against allegedly weaker competition. Goodish relative numbers. Defensive game not nearly as bad as some argue. Whatever flaws he has, those things alone easily make him a top 6 player.

His name feels like it's been around forever but he's only 23

Not right now, not on a really good team. It's a shame he has had the hand/wrist injuries because this was supposed to be his break out year with Williams moving on.

Vrana has been the better player this year, and he's younger.

He only scores against the Rangers.

He saw Girardi last night and got mixed up.

Aren't you the stats guy?

I think you missed something in here because career-wise he has a better scoring record against majority of the EC teams than against the Rangers.

50 was pretty easy. The second part of the list is all close. Burakovsky has the ability to climb was up that list but currently, he's done less or as little as everyone on this list.
