Only fixes that might help:

- Fire Lowe, hire Messier as replacement (if it has to be internal).
- Send Eakins and his staff to OKC and bring up Todd Nelson and his staff

Still wouldn't help much, our team simply isn't good enough.

another unproven coach.. and swapping Mess for Lowe wont accomplish much... Change for the sake of change... We have been doing the musical chairs for long enough..

Whats the point of getting Messier if the GM isnt changing...

How about offensive game... forechecking he is a fail, hitting he is meh, selfish with the puck with the Hemskian dangles.. Yak just looks lost and overwhelmed out there.

League worst +/- is not a small thing especially when he isnt going against top lines..

Not sure what to say if you dont think he needs to work on his game..

Hall, nuge , ebs are atleast putting up the points so it kinda masks most of the suckiness..

Hall has 118 more games played than Yak. Eberle has 148 more. Nuge has 54.

Come on guys, it shouldn't be this difficult.

Boyd Gordon is a first line center now? :shakehead :help:

Haven't we learned in the past 7 years that taking people out of the positions they succeed in just gets people ran out of town.

Boyd Gordon is a 3rd line center. A very good 3rd line center. Don't move him

I do believe that we have a lot of players who get minutes just because we want to get them going rather than them giving us a competitive edge.

We seemed better last night without Yak and Hemsky. It's not that they don't offer anything, but them out of the lineup meant that Perron could go back into the top six and Hendricks could go to the third line.

Also, considering the age of the team it is not that much of a stretch to say that the team will improve simply by aging. There's also Belov, who could get better just by playing the NHL game more.
