"Oilers backup goaltender Stuart Skinner was not on the bench for the game as he was feeling ill. According to Oilers general manager Ken Holland felt well enough to attend the game, but it was determined best for him not sit on the bench to keep from infecting other players. Desharnais has been bed-ridden with the flu for the past few days according to Holland."
Sounds like the flu bug is making it's rounds. Too bad this couldn't have swept through during the all star break, but they're going to need to get through it.
Ever break a rib? F'n painful. Affects your core mobility, depending on severity. What? Is that confirmed? Then why is he dtd still?
Man, the guy just can't get any traction. Explains his less than stellar play his last few games. Hurray back Evander!Seravalli on The Nation Network yesterday said Kane is out at least 2 weeks with a rib injury. I updated the OP to reflect that.
So Kane is DTD not week to week now? Pretty big improvement from Thurs to Sun.
I mean if you listed him as out for 2-3 weeks, does that not make him week to week?He never was listed as week to week. He was listed as two weeks which was recently updated by the Oilers (see the posts).
