Put yourself in Joey’s shoes. He has the 6th largest payroll with a coaching staff costing him 5M, although he is in the lower tier in terms of revenues in the league and the team is complete crap. For sure he needs to do something. I’m okay to let Piatti go as long as we use his 6M in salary to bring 3 solid DPs.

Where I don’t feel sorry for Joey is when he says we overestimated our team and underestimated the league. No ****. Who did that? Your management team (Braz and NDS) have been with this team even before the MLS and 7 years into the MLS and they still don’t know how to evaluate the teams and the players? Don’t blame the players or the coach or the fans then. Blame your own incompetence.
